Germany won the tournament undefeated. They beat world No. 14 Italy in the semifinals, while the Dutch were too good for No. 15 Czechia, who went on to claim the bronze medal by beating Italy 11-0.

In the final, Matthes Schwarcke dominated the Dutch lineup, allowing only three hits over five innings and striking out 10. Thore Warlies struck out the side in the sixth.

Schwarcke also put Germany on the scoreboard with a bases-loaded two-RBI single in the bottom of the first. Germany thrived on a wild start by Marcelo Montenegro Espinoza and extended their lead to 3-0 before the end of the first. They didn't look back.
