How to watch Baseball Champions League: GameTime & broadcast partnerships set to deliver widespread coverage in the Americas

The global audience can watch the historic four-team event on GameTime, the WBSC streaming service.

The historic and innovative first edition of the Baseball Champions League (BCL) Americas has drawn considerable attention across the Americas. The four-team tournament, set to open on Thursday in Merida, Mexico, will be televised across a number of countries and territories in the continent thanks to the WBSC’s broadcast and streaming partners.

The BCL Americas is the first-ever "international tournament of champions", with the participation of league winners from Colombia, Cuba, Mexico and USA.The participating teams are Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, champions of the American Association of Professional Baseball (an official Partner League of Major League Baseball); Alazanes de Granma, the Cuban National League champions; Caimanes de Barranquilla, winners of the Colombian Baseball League; and hosts Leones de Yucatan, LMB champions 2022.

Fans around the world can also view the BCL Americas on GameTime, the WBSC global streaming service. GameTime.sport has two different packages available to watch the BCL: A Tournament Pass and a Daily Pass.

The Tournament Pass will grant access to the seven games of the competition across all devices, live and on-demand, for $9.99 US dollars. By obtaining a Daily Pass ($3.99 US dollars), the subscribers will have access to the games scheduled on a single day. 

Meanwhile, the WBSC has secured TV and streaming partners in the four participating nations including partnering with cable sports giant ESPN to broadcast the tournament live in Mexico. As part of this agreement, ESPN will produce the event, which runs from 28 September to 1 October. 

The WBSC has also awarded TV and streaming rights in Colombia, Cuba and USA. Win Sports channel will broadcast the tournament in Colombia, while Tele Rebelde will air the event in Cuba. Fans in the US can watch the tournament through Unbeaten sports channel available in platforms like Vizio WatchFree, Amazon Freevee and Prime, Fubo TV, Sling TV and Plex TV.

ByM Sports channel was awarded the TV rights in Venezuela, while free-to-air Canal 4 will televise the seven games of the competition in Nicaragua.
