How to watch the U-18 Men’s Softball World Cup

One of Mexico’s largest telecommunications companies, Megacable has been granted the exclusive TV broadcast rights in the Mexican territory for the WBSC U-18 Men’s Softball World Cup, and is expected to reach millions of viewers through its channels TVC Deportes, TVC Deportes 2 and Megasports. 

Softball fans around the world will be able to watch the WBSC U-18 Men’s Softball World Cup, which runs from 11 to 19 November in Hermosillo, Mexico, through the WBSC-owned OTT subscription platform, GameTime while Megacable has been awarded the rights to broadcast the tournament in Mexico. 

Megacable, one of Mexico’s largest telecommunications companies, has been granted the exclusive rights in the Mexican territory for the tournament, and is expected to reach millions of viewers through its channels TVC Deportes, TVC Deportes 2 and Megasports. 

Meanwhile, all 42 games of the WBSC U-18 Men’s Softball World Cup will be live-streamed on GameTime, the main destination to watch all WBSC Baseball, Softball and Baseball5 World Cups. Fans will be able to opt for two different services: Tournament Pass, or Daily Pass. Fans can subscribe and purchase their packages at gametime.sport.

Tournament Pass subscribers will have full access to the WBSC U-18 Men’s Softball World Cup. With this premium subscription, fans can watch all 42 games of the tournament live and on demand across all devices, ad-free. The Tournament Pass is priced at $29.99 US dollars.

Viewers will be able to watch WBSC U-18 Men’s Softball World Cup action for one day by obtaining a Daily Pass, covering all games scheduled on a single day. The one-day pass will be available for $5.99 US dollars.

The best players from 11 nations will compete For the Title of World Champion, starting in two groups:

  • Group A: No. 2 Australia, No. 4 Canada, No. 6 Czechia, No. 10 Mexico, No. 12 Singapore and No. 24 Colombia
  • Group B: No. 1 Argentina, No. 3 Japan, No. 5 USA, No. 7 New Zealand and No. 8 Venezuela

After group play, the top three finishers from each group will advance to the Super Round, while the others will compete in the Placement Round. The second phase of the tournament will run from 16-18 November.

The top two finishers of the Super Round will compete for the U-18 Men’s Softball World title, while the third- and fourth-place teams play for the bronze medal. The finals are scheduled for Sunday, 19 November.
