Chinese Taipei beat Czech Republic, 1-0, and secured a spot in the World Championship Final.

Chinese Taipei beat the Czech Republic, 1-0, to secure a spot in Sunday's WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup Final, with the title of world champion in the line. Starter Hsia-Ai Ke tossed a gem to outduel Katerina Kindermmanova.

Hsia-Ai Ke pitched a three-hit complete game shutout, striking out six with no walks. She has a 0.67 ERA for the tournament with three wins and no losses after 21 innings of work.

The lone run of the game came in the bottom of the fourth inning. Chi-Yun Lin doubled to lead off the inning, and one out later Hsin-Yun Li drove her in with a single up the middle.

Czech ace Kindermmanova struck out eight in six innings, giving up five hits and one run in the game, to get her second loss of the tournament. 

Chinese Taipei remains unbeaten after six games, and will face USA in the World Championship Final on Sunday, 4 p.m. local time. Czech Republic records three wins and three losses and tomorrow will take on Puerto Rico vying for a spot in the Bronze Medal Game.
