Denmark's Hurricanes win European men’s softball club title

The U-23 Czech National Softball Team participated in the event in preparation for next year’s inaugural WBSC U-23 Men’s Softball World Cup. They finished in sixth place.

Denmark's Hørsholm Von Holmbäck Hurricanes claimed the Men’s Softball European Super Cup title for the second time in a row after winning the final, 10-2 in five innings, over Žraloci Ledenice from the Czech Republic. Another Czech Republic club, the Chomutov Beavers, won the bronze medal.

The Hurricanes, the Danish national champions, blew away the opposition, staying undefeated in seven games to clinch back-to-back continental championships going back to 2019, after the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. It's also the third Denmark club team to win the title in a row after Amager Vikings topped the standings in 2018.

The 2021 European Super Cup - which was played in Prague and featured 15 teams from seven nations - title is the third for the Hørsholm Von Holmbäck Hurricanes after they won the inaugural edition in 2012
