The first vice president of the Iran National Olympic Committee Gholamreza Norouzi participated in the closing ceremony. The Olympic Committee has guaranteed support to develop Baseball, Softball and Baseball5 in Iran since 2021.
The games were played at Karaji Stadium, a recently renovated venue that fits international standards.
Iran introduced baseball in the 1990s and started competing internationally in 1999. The adult league has seven participating teams. The Iran Baseball and Softball Association (IBSA) launched women's softball in 2002 with five active teams.
