World number 1 Japan and the hosts Chinese Taipei (World number 4) will play on Sunday, 4 August, the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup final.
Japan qualified to the U-12 Baseball World Cup final with one game in advance with a thrilling 8-7 win in seven innings against Korea.
Korea looked in control when the game was postponed because of rain Friday and entered play with a 4-1 lead. Japan tied it in the bottom of the fifth and won it on a sacrifice bunt and a chopper to first base in the seventh inning.

Korea had suffered a tough 10-8 loss earlier in the day against Cuba.
Down 6-4, Cuba came from behind to win on a two-RBI base hit by standout first baseman Christian Saez after Korea relieved starter Doo Donghyeon with two outs in the fifth. The bullpen allowed five walks in just 1.1 innings of work.

Japan will face Chinese Taipei in the U-12 Baseball World Cup final. World number 3 Korea and World number 5 Cuba will play for a bronze medal.
Despite being out of the medal round, Mexico played an intense game and beat Japan, 8-3.
Japan took an early lead but committed a two-out defensive error that gave Mexico a chance to come back in the top of the fourth.
Juan Zavarce pitched 5.1 innings and earned the win.
