Juergen Elsishans re-elected president of the German Baseball Softball Federation

He will serve for a two-year term: "The board and I appreciate the trust of the regional federations."

The German Baseball and Softball Federation (DBV, Deutscher Baseball und Softball Verband) re-elected Juergen Elsishans as the president for the next two-year term. It was a unanimous vote.

Treasurer Uwe Sacherer and vice presidents Markus Pollmeier and Nicole Broziewski were also confirmed.

The newcomers on the board are vice presidents Alexandra Stuckstaette and Hauke Brockmann. Thomas Bieth is also a vice president and enters the board as the president of the youth organization of German Baseball and Softball.

"The board and I appreciate the fact that regional federations trust the work we have done in the past two years," said Elsishans. "I welcome our new board members and would like to thank Oliver Rossius and Tobias Dietrich for their commitment during their term."

The general assembly was held online due to the current COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. The assembly approved the financial planning for 2021.

Germany is currently 19th in the WBSC Baseball World Rankings, 32nd in women's softball and 31st in men's softball.
