The Baseball Federation of Kenya and the Kenya Softball Federation announced a joint project to select a Baseball5 National Team.
Presidents Francis Njeru Karugu (softball) and Titus Mutwiri (baseball) agreed on forming a Baseball5 Committee. Officials from both Federations would serve on the committee and contribute to the selection of the National Teams.
The Baseball Federation will be in charge of all the youth National Teams at the continentals and world level.
The Softball Federation will be in charge of the adult National Team at the continental and world level.
