Leksand dominate Swedish Women’s Softball
SKOEVDE, Sweden-After becoming Swedish Women’s Softball National Champions, Leksand Lumberjacks repeated themselves in the U-19 age bracket. In both cases they defeated Enkoeping in the final
Leksand Lumberjacks won the Swedish Women’s fastpitch softball title defeating Enkoeping in the final. They then repeated themselves claiming also the U-19 title through a 20-8 win (against Enkoeping again) in the championship game.
The U-19 Swedish Championship played it’s final day in Skoevde. The hosts finished fifth. Karlslund claimed bronze medal, while Soeder finished fourth.
Leksand also earned MVP honors through Julia Wiklund, who went 2 for 2 with a grandslam in the final.
