Luc Clément N'Doli Bredou elected Ivory Coast Baseball Softball Federation President

Bredou succeeds Étienne N'Guessan, the founder of the federation.

Luc Clément N'Doli Bredou has been elected the new president of the Ivory Coast Baseball Softball Federation (Fédération Ivoirienne de Baseball et Softball) and will serve for a four-year term.

He succeeds Étienne N'Guessan, who founded the federation in 1996. The founder said through a Facebook post that he will keep supporting baseball and softball in the West African country.

In his first words as Ivory Coast Baseball Softball Federation President on Wednesday, Bredou said he will continue to lead the federation in the same direction as N'Guessan. "All together we can take on the challenge of developing the sport which we all love," Bredou said. "One of my priorities is to balance the books and then find partners who can accompany us on our adventure. This task is not easy but with new drive, nothing can stop us."

The federation's Board of Directors includes Vice Presidents Amara Fadiga and Fatou Sonko; Secretary-General Jean-Marc Tano; Treasurer Aboudlaye Soro Zana; Members Maxime Douho, Bruno De Medeiros, Séraphin De Kouassi, Christophe Allechi and Roéo Romuald Dayoro; and Members at Large Alice N'Gotta and Linda Carole Yadi Dehoule.
