New professional softball league to open in USA, schedule announced

The newly launched Women’s Professional Fastpitch (WPF) is the official professional softball league in the United States, founded by USA Softball, USSSA -- a WBSC Member and Associated Member respectively -- and Smash It Sports.

A new professional softball league is launching in the US, backed by the country's national governing body.

The Women’s Professional Fastpitch (WPF) has announced its inaugural exhibition season’s schedule. Each stop is strategically placed around an existing youth tournament, bringing professional level competition straight to the next generation, the league says.
