Pakistan beat India in International Baseball friendly

The defending West Asia champions won 12-1 at Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.

Pakistan defeated India, 12-1, in an international baseball friendly played at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.

India scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the first, but the hosts tied it in the top of the second and took a lead in the third they wouldn't give up.

A six-man crew from Pakistan umpired the game.

Earlier in February, Pakistan won the sixth West Asia Cup and qualified for the Asian Baseball Championship with the runner-up Palestine.

Taiwan will host the 2023 Asian Baseball Championship. Dates will be announced later. The top three finishers will qualify for the fifth WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup.
