Pakistan targets September Asian qualifier for WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2021

Pakistan Federation Baseball President Syed Fakhar Ali Shah will ask Prime Minister Imran Khan to open training camps for the U-18 Baseball National Team.

The Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) Secretary-General Sheikh Mazhar Ahmad has announced that Pakistan's U-18 National Baseball Team will participate in the Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA) U-18 Championship, which is scheduled for 6-12 September in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The Asian championship in Taiwan serves as a qualifier for the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2021.

Sheikh Mazhar Ahmad also confirmed that the top players of this age bracket have intensified practice under the supervision of local coaches.

PFB President Syed Fakhar Ali Shah will conduct a nationwide tour to monitor the preparation and development of Pakistan's U-18 National Baseball Team.

The Pakistan baseball leader also sent a request to Prime Minister Imran Khan to outline the standard operating procedures that will allow opening training camps at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.
