Puerto Rico launches massive Baseball5 development project

WBSC Continental Instructor Pablo Leone will instruct physical education teachers in seven clinics. The goal is to launch a School Baseball5 Championship in May and target the Youth Baseball5 World Cup 2025.

The Baseball Federation of Puerto Rico (FBPR), in collaboration with the Department of Education (DE), organised seven Baseball5 courses for physical education teachers.

WBSC Continental Instructor Pablo Leone already held five of the seven courses in Fajardo, Aguas Buenas, Ponce, Barceloneta and Bayamon.

The ultimate goal is to develop Baseball5 coaches in all regions and organize the inaugural Baseball5 School Championship in May.

The FBPR is targeting the WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup 2025, which will serve as a qualification tournament for the 2026 Dakar Youth Olympics.
