Rain delays final two games of Day 4 at WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship

WHITEHORSE, Yukon, Canada – Rain on Day 4 of the Men’s Softball World Championship caused the postponement of the final two games.

WHITEHORSE, Yukon, Canada – Rain on Day 4 of the Men’s Softball World Championship caused the postponement of the final two games.

No. 1 New Zealand vs No. 2 Japan was underway in the top of the third inning with Japan ahead 1-0 when the umpiring crew stopped the game due to hard rain.

Shortly into the rain delay, the Organising Committee postponed the remainder of the day’s games, including Dominican Republic vs. Australia, which had not yet started.

Play will resume tomorrow, 11 July, at 9:00am local time.
