World No. 5 Venezuela will host the Americas Qualifier in La Guaira from 12 to 21 August. The top four finishers will advance to the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup group stage, scheduled for 2023.

Set in the height of World War II, the television series will follow a group of professional women's baseball players in the newly established league.

The 39-year-old former catcher will lead the US to an international friendship series against Canada from 28 July to 1 August.

The five-game series is set to take place from July 28-August 1 in Thunder Bay, Ontario May 9, 2022.

The 24-year-old played in three editions of the Women's Baseball World Cup for USA - 2014, 2016 and 2018. She played left-field and batted ninth for the Staten Island FerryHawks on Sunday, 1 May having played college softball for the famed Cal State Fullerton programme from 2017 to 2020.

The Adelaide Giants, Brisbane Bandits and Victoria Aces will meet in the showcase. The WBSC will live-stream the games to international audiences.
