Sichuan beat Jiangsu to win 2022 Chinese National Softball Championship

A total of nine teams competed in the four-day competition.

Sichuan defeated Jiangsu, 6-5, in the final to win the 2022 National Softball Championship held in Xingyi City, Guizhou Province, China from 6-9 September. Liaoning finished in third place while Beijing, Henan, Shanghai, Guangdong, Tianjin and Chongqing ranked fourth to ninth respectively.

A total of nine teams competed in the tournament, which showed the highest level of Chinese women's softball. The tournament was live-streamed on social media platforms, including the Chinese Baseball and Softball APPa mobile application developed by the Chinese Softball Association. 

After the Championship, the Chinese Softball Association (CSA) will continue to hold other events, including the second half of China Softball League. 

The second half of the season will be held in the Shaoxing Baseball and Softball Sports Culture Center in early November. The stadium built for the XIX Asian Games covers a total land area of 245 mou (16.33 hectares) with a total investment of 1.854 billion yuan (US $275 million). It is the largest and newest baseball and softball stadium in China.
