Sofia Blues champions of the Bulgarian Baseball League

Sofia Blues are the new baseball champions of Bulgaria. They defeated the Blagoevgrad Buffaloes three games to one in the best of five final series of the Bulgarian Baseball League.
After splitting the first two games in Blagoevgrad, the Blues swept the four-time defending champions on home turf: 8-3, 13-3.
Dimitar Nassapov picked the win in game four. He took the mound with the Blues trailing 3-1, no outs and the bases loaded in the second and threw six shut out innings, allowing only three hits. Nassapov also contributed with a solo home run.

Sofia earned a second league title. Blagoevgrad remains the all time leader with 22 wins in the last 26 seasons.
