Softball Australia announce U-19 women's preliminary roster for 2024

Australia will compete in Group C of the WBSC U-18 Women's Softball World Cup.

World No. 10 Australia unveiled their preliminary U-19 women's roster for the 2024 season. After their second place at the Oceania Qualifier last year, a talented group of 30 athletes will be part of the selection process. You can see the list of players on Softball Australia website.

The squad will get their first chance to train and compete together in the upcoming camp, coinciding with the recently announced Aussie Spirit camp and series against the Chinese Taipei National Women’s Team.

This joint camp offers a unique opportunity for the U-19 squad to train alongside elite athletes and engage in high-level competitions. Among the highlights of the camp are intersquad games, a matchup against the Chinese Taipei senior national women’s team, and specialized technical and game scenario training sessions.

Following this camp, the team set to represent Australia at the U-18 Women’s World Cup Group Stage will be announced.

Australia will compete in Group C of the WBSC U-18 Women's Softball World Cup. The green and gold team will face No. 1 and hosts Australia, No. 14 Philippines, No. 21 Ireland and two teams coming from the Americas Qualifier. This group will take place at The Village Dallas in Dallas, Texas, from 29 August to 2 September.
