Softball season is underway in Lesotho after the conclusion of the Opening Season Tournament, hosted by Rovers Softball Club last weekend. A total of eight teams participated in the event, four in the men’s event and four in the women’s.
In the men’s competition, Ben Killers claimed the title over Gladiators, Kings and Kills; while in the women’s side Gills won it all against Rovers, Barbie Killers and Parentos.
In the individual awards, the Best Men Pitcher was Tshita from Gladiators, while the Best Women Pitcher was Fumane from Barbie Killers.
Lesotho is currently ranked No. 34 in the WBSC Men’s Softball World Rankings and No. 62 in the Women’s Softball World Rankings.
