South Africa qualify for WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup

South Africa is the sixth qualified National Team. The Americas Qualifier (16-21 March) and a Wild Card will complete the set of participants.

WBSC Africa announced that World No. 34 South Africa earned the Continent's spot in the VI WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup, scheduled for later in 2024.

The decision follows the cancellation of the qualifying tournament, originally scheduled as a three-team event from 11 to 14 January in Johannesburg. WBSC Africa cancelled the event after the other two participants (Uganda and Zimbabwe) withdrew.

South Africa becomes the sixth qualified National Team.
