South Africa Women's, Men's Softball National Provincial Championships crown winners

Eight provincial teams in each category participated in the four-day national competition.

The South African National Provincial Championships were played this past weekend at Dries Niemand Park and Kempton Park, with a total of eight teams each in the men’s and women’s competition. Both tournament’s final games were live-streamed through 360 Sports.

Eight provincial teams participated in the men’s and women’s events: Eastern Cape, Free State, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West and Western Cape.

Limpopo defeated KwaZulu-Natal in the final by a score of 5-4 to win the men's softball tournament, while Gauteng defeated Western Cape, 4-3, to win the women's title.

South Africa is the current No. 10 in the WBSC Men's Softball World Rankings and the current No. 26 in the women's rankings.
