The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) today announced the Super Round schedule for the VI WBSC U-12 Baseball World, which opened on 29 July in Tainan, Taiwan.

The top three teams from Group A – Mexico, Chinese Taipei and Venezuela – will battle the top three teams from Group B – USA, Dominican Republic and Korea.

For the Super Round, which takes place from 4-6 August, the qualified teams will carry over their head-to-to head records against each other from the Opening Round.

USA will enter the Super Round as the only undefeated team, at 2-0, while Dominican Republic, Mexico, Chinese Taipei and Venezuela will enter at 1-1, and Korea 0-2.

In the first Super Round battle, Mexico will take on the United States on Thursday, 4 August.

In the second game, Korea and Venezuela will meet, with Dominican Republic and Chinese Taipei the third and final Super Round game of the day.

The top two teams from the Super Round will play For the Title of World Champion on Sunday, 7 August.

Eliminated from world championship contention, Czechia, Italy, Japan, Panama and South Africa will continue to play in the 7th-12th Placement Round.
