The three alums are ESPN analyst Jenny Dalton-Hill, inaugural WBSC Premier12 silver medalist Jacob May, and Olympic gold medalist Ernie Young.

USA Baseball announced the addition of three former athletes to its Board of Directors, including Women’s National Team alum and ESPN analyst Jenny Dalton-Hill, Professional National Team alum Jacob May, and nine-time national team coach and Olympic gold medalist Ernie Young.

"The expansion of our Board of Directors with three additional former athletes is a tremendous step forward for USA Baseball, and we are thrilled to welcome our newest member Jacob, as well as welcome back Ernie and Jenny," said USA Baseball President Mike Gaski. "These three individuals bring incredible experience and value to our board. We anticipate their contributions making a big impact and having a great influence on USA Baseball."

Dalton-Hill rejoins the Board with over ten years of experience as a player and a coach for USA Baseball. As a player, she helped the US to a bronze medal at the Women's World Cup 2010. She served as a coach at the inaugural USA Baseball Girls Camp 2021.

May appeared in eight games for the US at the inaugural WBSC Premier12, contributing to a silver medal. He played professional baseball from 2013 to 2018 and made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut on 4 April 2017. He currently works for United Midwest Savings Bank.

Young was a member of the gold medal-winning USA team at the 2020 Sydney Olympics. He enjoyed an eight-season MLB career and was a member of the USA Baseball Board in 2003. He served as a hitting coach on five National Teams, including the silver medal-winning team at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
