Welcome back to the WBSC Top-10 Baseball Plays of the Year, a review of the best 10 plays in the WBSC Baseball World Cups in 2023. In fifth position, we find a sensational diving catch by USA's right fielder Tyler Early to finish their game against Korea in the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup.

It's Day 5 at the World Cup and Korea led Group B with a perfect 3-0 record. They faced USA on Game 29 of the tournament, with the Americans one game behind with two wins and one loss.

Early did everything in this game. Offensively, he went 1-for-2 with a run scored from the second spot in the line-up. He was also USA's starting pitcher, tossing 4.2 innings while striking out nine opponents. He allowed two hits and one run before being moved to right field where he made an outstanding diving catch in the sixth inning to end the game.

Five days later, USA won the title against Chinese Taipei, Early was the winning pitcher of the Final and was named the MVP of the tournament.
