U-18 European championship set to open in Czechia, top two finishers will qualify for XXXI WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup

Twelve National Teams will compete in two groups. The first and second place will compete in the semifinals. The two finalists will have a shot at the European Title and earn a ticket into the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2023.

The U-18 Baseball European Championship 2022 is set to open in Brno, Ostrava, Hluboka and Blansko, Czechia, on Saturday, 13 August.

The European Champions and the runner-up will qualify for the XXXI WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup, scheduled for September 2023.

The 12 participating National Teams will split in two groups:

Group A: Austria, France, Great Britain, Lithuania, Netherlands and Spain.

Group B: Belgium, Czechia, Germany, Ireland, Israel and Italy.

At the end of round-robin play, the top two finishers of each group will advance to the semifinals, to be played on Friday, 19 August.

The winners of the semifinals will earn a berth into the XXXI U-18 World Cup and compete for the European title in the final scheduled Saturday, 20 August.
