Czech Republic, Korea, Japan and USA will play for the baseball medals at the Taipei Summer Universiade.
Czech Republic beat (12-7) France and finish (2-1 record) in first place in Group A despite an 11-0 loss to Chinese Taipei.
The hosts surrender (6-3) to Korea and are eliminated. Korea share a 2-1 record with Czech Republic, but finish secondo because of a 4-3 loss in the direct matchup.
Japan makes it to the super round as the only undifeated nation after beating Mexico (7-2) and USA (11-5).
USA capitalized on Day 1 win (3-2) against Mexico.
Russia is the only team to finish with no wins. They were outscored 47-3 in 3 games.
The games of the super round (25, 26 August) will only set the schedule for the semi finals (28 August). Gold and bronze medal games are scheduled on Tuesday 29 August
