USA entered the bottom of the seventh with a 4-1 deficit, but showed patience in the plate, and after a one-out Coy James single, the lineup drew three consecutive walks to make it a two-run game.

Then Ethan Holliday hit a comebacker to the mound that Carlos Pernalete couldn’t control, and the tying run scored on a balk. Finally, Perry stepped to the plate and singled on the first pitch through the middle to plate the winning run.
