Venezuela's Eduardo Brizuela becomes assistant general manager with MLB's Milwaukee Brewers

He helped build Venezuela's U-23 World Championship National Team.

The Baseball Federation of Venezuela (FEVEBEISBOL) announced that Eduardo Brizuela, one of the key figures in the management of Venezuelan National Teams, has been promoted to vice president, special assistant to the general manager by the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Brizuela (pictured above, centre) had served as the assistant to general manager Luis Blasini (right) since 2019, when he helped put together the team that represented Venezuela at the WBSC Premier12. He is the man behind the U-23 World Champion team that was the most recent WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup.

His career with the Milwaukee Brewers started 14 years ago as a scouting intern. He then worked as Coordinator-Latin America Operations, Director- Latin America scouring, Assistant Farm Director and Director-Minor League Operations.
