Watch WBSC eBASEBALL™: PowerPros Olympic Esports Series finals live; Tickets on sale for Olympic Esports Week
Ten gamers have qualified for the eBaseball event, scheduled on Saturday, 24 June. The Olympic eBaseball game is WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS, published by KONAMI in February. It can be played on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, or Nintendo Switch.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) released the ticketing information for the first in-person, live, finals of the Olympic Esports Series 2023, which includes eBASEBALL™.
The Esports Series will highlight the inaugural Olympic Esports Week, which opens in Singapore’s Suntec Centre on Thursday, 22 June 2023.
Tickets for Olympic Esports Week are available to purchase now, with general admission starting at SGD 10 per day and three-day passes from SGD 20. In recognition of Visa’s long-standing partnership with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Visa is the official and preferred way to pay for Olympic Esports Week tickets.
Ticket-holders will be able to attend a full schedule of events across the Olympic Esports Week programme, including the three days of live finals (23, 24 and 25 June), a host of the latest virtual sports, gaming and esports innovations in the free-to-play zone, including baseball, and some of the world's best competing in exhibition matches.
The eBaseball finals are scheduled for Saturday, 24 June. Ten gamers will participate, including the Olympic Virtual Series 2021 Baseball Event winner Shoma Mori and a Wild Card.
Four players qualified through the Japan-only Final Qualifier, which took place at the KONAMI eSports GINZA studio in Tokyo on 8 April.
Four more gamers advanced to the finals through two global qualifiers, held online from 27 March to 2 April and 17 to 23 April respectively.

Following the success of the Olympic Virtual Series in 2021, the WBSC and Konami Digital Entertainment (KONAMI) teamed up for the Olympic Esports Series 2023, publishing in February WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS. The game can be played on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, or Nintendo Switch.
The other eSports included in the Olympic Esports Series 2023 are archery, cycling, dancing, sailing, taekwondo, sport shooting, tennis, motorsport and chess.
