Jupiter, Florida. The Friday evening game at the World Baseball Classic Qualifier in Jupiter, Florida between France and South Africa is in overtime. With the score tied at 2-2 in the tenth inning, the game was suspended due to rain seven hours after the original scheduled starting time.

Emmanuel Garcia and Maxime Lefevre lifted the French team to a 2-0 lead in the first. Karl Weitz and Wesley Hoskins crossed the plate for South Africa in the fifth. Owen Ozanich, Matthieu Brelle-Andrade, Keino Perez, Thomas Meley and Leonel Cespedes took the mound for France so far. Wade Mackey and Hein Robb pitched for South Africa.

The game will resume play on Saturday at 12pm at Roger Dean Stadium. The winner of the game will face Spain in the evening, trying to book a final game appearance against Israel. The loser will be eliminated.
