The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced that the WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS players who are most active and impactful on social media between 1 and 14 May will receive a gift card.
The prize winners, who can use the gift cards in either the PlayStation Store or the Nintendo eShop, will be chosen for their use of social media to engage fellow eBASEBALL™ players and promoting the game around the world.
Players are encouraged to participate by tagging @WBSC on social media and using the official campaign hashtag #WBSCPowerPros when posting content.
The WBSC will evaluate and select the best content based on its emotive and storytelling qualities, as well its impact on the social media community such as engagement and impressions. The applicable social media platforms are Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitch.
Launched in partnership with Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. (KONAMI) in February, WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS is the official WBSC video baseball game and was selected to feature in the inaugural Olympic Esports Series 2023, the International Olympic Committee’s global virtual and simulated sports competition. The Olympic Esports Series 2023 is set to culminate with the Olympic Esports Finals 2023 which will take place in person during the Olympic Esports Week in Singapore from 22-25 June.
