The World Baseball Softball Confederation
(WBSC) is delighted to announce 365 HA HA HOSPITAL as the WBSC Legacy Club’s
first Diamond Partner.
The WBSC and the South Korean hospital,
based in the Gangseo-gu ward of Busan, have signed an
agreement which will see the hospital support the Legacy Club through funding
and other activities.
The Legacy Club was inaugurated in 2023 by
the WBSC and is focused on growing the sport and making it relevant in people's
lives and communities by bridging cultural gaps and enhancing social
development worldwide. Already, the Legacy Club has had a lasting impact on
children living in refugee camps in Jordan with plans to expand to Kenya in
2024.
The 365 HA HA HOSPITAL, which specialises in rehabilitation with a focus on Tommy John Surgery, aligns with the key principles and aims of the Legacy Club. Their commitment will help the Legacy Club run more programmes worldwide.
WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari
thanked the 365 HA HA HOSPITAL for their support and marked it as an important
step in the Legacy Club’s growth.
"The WBSC is delighted to announce the 365 HA HA HOSPITAL as the WBSC Legacy Club’s first Diamond Partner," President Fraccari said. "The support of Legacy Club Members and Partners allows us to reach new communities and to use our wonderful sport to help improve the lives of disadvantaged children and adults globally.
“The 365 HA HA HOSPITAL has shown great commitment
by becoming our first partner and their approach closely aligns with that of
the Legacy Club, while their extensive experience with Tommy John Surgery means
they are already heavily involved in our sport.”
Mr. Byungho HA, Hospital Director, said: "As
a WBSC Legacy Club Diamond Partner, 365 HA HA HOSPITAL will play a significant
role in supporting individuals who enjoy a healthy lifestyle through sports and
enhancing their safety. This aligns with the core values of our hospital and
will help us spread good influences on the community"
