WBSC Members Handbook: A tool to further boost Member Federations' development

In line with the WBSC Strategic Plan 2022-2028, the WBSC Members Handbook provides guidelines and resources to the members to improve their governance and boost sustainable growth.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) released today the WBSC Members Handbook, a document created to further strengthen the development of its members through a comprehensive online educational tool. In line with the WBSC Strategic Plan 2022-2028, the WBSC Members Handbook provides guidelines and resources to the members to improve their governance and boost sustainable growth.

"We're fully committed to support all our members in the path for more modern, sustainable and well-organised Member Federations. A solid global movement will ensure the sustainability of our athletes and our ecosystem," said WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari. "The WBSC Members Handbook will help the Member Federations, Continental Associations and the WBSC itself to further strengthen governance and processes around every aspect of the WBSC family."

WBSC Members Handbook

The handbook aims to be a helpful tool for WBSC Members to educate and develop themselves and achieve better performance, not only in governance and sport development but also in different areas such as communications and marketing, to prevent risks and embrace new trends and the needs of the youth in a changing society.

The brand-new document, developed by WBSC Commissions and staff members, covers all the different topics that member federations should consider for the management and operations of their federations. It also provides guidelines, tips and practical information about how the members can work with the WBSC and utilise WBSC services to make sure they know their rights, potential opportunities and how to access the resources produced by the WBSC.

The WBSC Members Handbook, an online tool to reduce paper waste in line with the WBSC Sustainability Strategy, can be downloaded here.

The Spanish version of the Handbook will be released soon. Further updates also be made on a regular basis to keep all the information up to date.
