WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup finals to be played at Sonora Stadium

The World Championship Game will be played at Sonora Stadium at 5 p.m. while the Bronze Medal Game will start at 11 a.m. local time.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) and the Local Organising Committee announced today that the finals of the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup will be played on Sunday, 4 September, at Sonora Stadium in Hermosillo, Mexico. 

The World Championship Game will be played at Sonora Stadium at 5 p.m. while the Bronze Medal Game wil start at 11 a.m. local time.

After two days of Super Round, Cuba remains undefeated in the tournament and is the lone leader of the Super Round standings. Japan, Chinese Taipei and USA are tied in second place, with a 2-1 records, while Panama and Puerto Rico are 0-3.

The top two teams in the Super Round standings will play the World Championship Game, while the third and fourth place finishers will meet in the Bronze Medal Game.

The Super Round continues today (Friday, 2 September) and wraps up Saturday.
