WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup to be broadcast live with 400 million potential reach

The WBSC landed deals in five nations and territories to broadcast live the biggest international baseball event in the world in 2023.

The XXXI WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup will be aired live in Japan, Korea, Mexico, Taiwan and Venezuela, with a potential reach of 400 million people. The WBSC landed agreements with 10 media outlets to air the biggest international youth baseball event on the planet.

Broadcast partners of the XXXI WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup include:

  • Japan: J-Sports and BS11
  • Korea: SPO TV (Super Round)
  • Mexico: Megacable and PCTV
  • Taiwan: P+ from 'PTS' (Public Television Service), Videoland (Cable), Elta (IPTV & OTT), Line (OTT)
  • Venezuela: ByM Sports

The Opening Round takes place from 31 August to 5 September. The top three finishers from each group will advance to the Super Round, which will be played from 7 to 9 September. The finals are set for Sunday, 10 September.
