LAUSANNE, Switzerland — The World Baseball Softball Confederation today unveiled the official promotional video for the upcoming WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup® 2018 — the biggest international baseball event of the year and biggest ever to be held in Colombia — which will be staged from 19-28 October in Barranquilla and Monteria.

WBSC’s broadcast partners will incorporate the promotional video into their opening title sequences, and the host cities will be showcasing the version in Spanish.

The promotional video will also be played before each game to help create an electric in-stadium experience for the fans, teams and players themselves.

The script:

  • The World’s Pro Leagues
  • Next Generation of Stars
  • NOT your local team
  • It’s COUNTRY vs. COUNTRY
  • Last chance for PREMIER12® 2019
  • For the Title of WORLD CHAMPION

The exciting 1-minute-15-second video of the global baseball event was produced in collaboration with Leeds, UK-based, mega-event branding experts WORKS.
