WBSC welcomes major sponsors for U-23 Baseball World Cup 2022

WBSC Global Sponsor Nippon Express highlights the U-23 Baseball World Cup’s roster of sponsors.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) unveiled today brand new and returning sponsors for the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup, set to begin on Thursday in Taiwan. WBSC Global Sponsor Nippon Express Holdings (Nippon Express) highlights the U-23 Baseball World Cup’s roster of sponsors. 

In addition to WBSC Global Sponsor Nippon Express and Official Suppliers SSK and Synergy Sports, a total of 12 international and local corporate partners joined a diverse roster of sponsors of the U-23 Baseball World Cup. 

“The commercial appeal of our properties keeps growing around the world, and especially in Taiwan. We’re grateful to all our sponsors for supporting the U-23 Baseball World Cup,” said WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari. “With more WBSC events set to take place in Taiwan in the coming months, I’m sure we’ll be able to build a synergistic relationship for the benefit of our partners and our sport.”

Japan’s Nippon Express, a leading global logistics services company, became a WBSC Global Sponsor for all WBSC’s Baseball and Softball World Cups in 2022.

Iconic Japanese baseball brand SSK is supplying the official competition ball and umpire equipment for every WBSC baseball tournament; while Synergy Sports, an innovative company in baseball’s technology sector, will support with its coaching and scouting products and services.

Panasonic, a major multinational conglomerate corporation in consumer electronics and others, has been confirmed as sponsor for the tournament in the electronics category. Panasonic also sponsors the Chinese Taipei Baseball squad. 

The list of sponsors includes some of the leading companies in Taiwan in each of their categories, like Taiwan Sports Lottery (sports lottery), Chunghwa Telecom (telecommunication), Premier Quality (water dispensers), Unix (hairdryer), Genesis (elevators), Hwa Nan Bank (banking), TransGlobe Life Insurance (insurance), ANYO Fresh Food (processed food and deli), Labturbo Biotech (bio technology products), Yoxi (taxi and mobility services) and HeySong (soft drink).
