The 150-page digital book is now available through the WBSC website.

World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) President Riccardo Fraccari thanked the baseball and softball community and WBSC staff for their "endearing commitment and dedication to growing our sport despite the difficult year we all faced" in a welcome message, which opens the 2021 edition of the WBSC Yearbook, which is now available here.

"I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together in 2021 - including the many new initiatives which help maintain integrity and good governance in our organisation," President Fraccari added as he looked back on baseball and softball's successful appearance at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the Olympic Virtual Series as well as the return of WBSC Baseball and Softball World Cups following postponements due to the pandemic.

"It was a challenge and required the cooperation and discipline of all participants but by implementing stringent protocols, we completed all the tournaments successfully," President Fraccari said.

The Official WBSC Yearbook 2021 will take the reader through an emotional and informative journey as it documents all of the events through facts, figures and images and offers a complete report on development plans and partnerships while also highlighting some of the major off-field initiatives including new event bidding guidelines and updated statutes, policies, rules and guidelines to incorporate higher integrity measures and international standards.
