The Venezuelan Baseball Federation announced that the 2022 season will consist of three national championships and 13 national tournaments including the second edition of the Women's Baseball League, which will open on 26 March, with nine clubs participating in three areas of the country.
Lara, Merida and Yaracuy will compete in the Occidente (West). Aragua, Carabobo and Guarico will play in Centro (Center). Anzoategui, Distrito Capital and Miranda are the clubs included in the Oriente (East) division.

Each club will be allowed to include 40 players above the age of 12 in their roster and pick 20 for each series.
After a 12-game regular season, the top finishers in each division and the best second-place team will advance to a four-team round-robin. Number one and two finishers in the round-robin will play for the title.
Other competitions include the U-12, U-18 National Championships and a national tournament in the U-15 age bracket.
FEVEBEISBOL also announced pre-baseball national tournaments in the U-4, U-6, U-10 age brackets and amateur adult competition in the over 40 (master), 50 (super master) and 60 (magister) age brackets.
The Baseball5 season will include six nationwide tournaments in the adult (no age limit) and youth (U-18) categories.
