XXVI Pan-American 12U Championship: Results Day 7, November 8

Panama has won the XXVI Pan-American 12U Baseball Championship in Barranquilla, Colombia. They claimed the title with a 10-0 shutout over host Colombia in the Gold Medal Game, capping a perfect week of undefeated baseball.

Panama took the lead in the second inning, doubled it in the fourth and blew the contest wide open with four runs apiece in the fifth and the sixth. They were led by Melquidas Escobar, who kept Colombia to two walks in four scoreless two-hit frames, while striking out nine. Fernando Gibson closed it out, allowing two hits on the way. Nelson Quintero was charged with the loss. Pablo Falconnett had three hits and a RBI.
