Svecova brilla en la victoria de República Checa sobre Hong Kong

La lanzadora Marketa Svecova lanzó un juego sin hits para República Checa para liderar su victoria 10-0 en cuatro entradas sobre Hong Kong el miércoles en la II Copa Mundial de Softbol Sub-12 WBSC en Jin-Long Field.

Svecova tuvo 10 ponches permitiendo solo tres bases por bolas, mientras que su compañera de equipo Tereza Valtusova se fue de dos por dos en bateo y agregó una carrera para liderar la ofensiva checa.

Daniel Mach dirigió la ofensiva de la República Checa en la parte baja de la primera entrada, cuando conectó un sencillo por el lado derecho, llegó a tercera en un lanzamiento descontrolado y culminó su jugada con una carrera cuando Krystof Roll conectó un sencillo para una ventaja de 1-0 en el fondo de la primera entrada.

Katerina Slanska went for the run next. After earning a walk, she easily moved to bases as the opposing side struggled, then reached home plate on a Svecova ground out. Roll and McKeon scored the next two runs to close the first inning with a 4-0 advantage.

In the second frame, Slanska earned another walk and finished the run on Svecova’s single to second base to increase the lead further to 5-0.

As Svecova kept her fine pitching form in the three innings, her teammates continued to score runs. Alfred Steiner started the offence with a single to right centre, followed by Valtusova’s second hit to right field and Ondrej Kos’ reaching first base on fielder’s choice.

With three in scoring position, Natalie Budinova pushed her teammates further to home plate on fielder’s choice to allow Steiner for the run. Valtusova and Budinova also scored when Mach reached base on a fielding error.

Czech Republic closed the game in four innings after logging two additional runs from Roll and Sebastian Mckeon at 10-0.
