Venezuela continued its hot hitting at the 15U Baseball World Championship in Mexico on Wednesday, dismantling Chinese Taipei 20-2 in seven innings. After a scoreless first inning, Venezuela scored in each of the next six frames for an impressive victory over the former undefeated squad from Asia.

Nestor Tejada homered twice and Greifer Andrade once as they combined for six runs and six RBI. Yorman Rodriguez went 4-for-5 with five RBI. Mikey Edie scored four times out of the leadoff spot. On the mound Ricardo Sanchez gave up only three hits, a run and three walks in five innings. Shun Chi Lin was charged with four hits, four runs and a base on balls in 2 1/3 innings.
