The media credential application for the 2015 WBSC Premier12™ international baseball flagship competition is now available at http://credentials.wbsc.org and will remain open until Friday, the 9th of October (12:00 PM Central European Time – UTC+2).
The first-ever WBSC Premier12 will determine the best overall (“global”) National Team programme. Nations have qualified for the 2015 WBSC Premier12 based on their Top 12 finish in the final 2014 WBSC Baseball World Rankings, which are based on the performance of each country’s U-12, U-15, U-18, U-21 and men’s National Teams in official international competitions sanctioned by WBSC. The men’s National Teams from the Top 12 nations have earned the right to have their top players compete in Japan and Taiwan on this exciting head-to-head 2015 WBSC Premier12 stage, which will run from 8-21 November.
Media personnel who intend to cover the 2015 WBSC Premier12 are kindly requested to review the event media accreditation guidelines below before applying.

GUIDELINES FOR NON-RIGHTS HOLDING (“NRH”) MEDIA
Coverage by NRH TV/Radio and Crew
- Coverage of the 2015 WBSC Premier12 is intended for sports event coverage.
- Only rights holders of applicable games may shoot footage and cover (including sound recording of) the games.
- NRH media may only cover official practices, mixed zone and official press conferences.
- Credentials will be granted by specific category (i.e., Press, Photographer, Radio, TV), and access will be granted correspondingly.
- Photographers and NRH TV crew will be required to wear bibs.
- Due to the limited space in the venue, there may be a restriction on the number of access passes issued to each company.
- There will be no designated parking for media credential holders (Japan Round).

Pre-Game Ground level (up to 1 camera allowed*)
During the Game No coverage allowed (coverage from ticketed seating, club house, dugout,
press zones, etc. is strictly forbidden)
Post-Game Mixed zone, official press conference (up to 1 camera allowed*)
*Japanese Media: One (1) camera per affiliated broadcasting station
MEDIA CREDENTIAL PICK UP
Credentials will be distributed at the location indicated within the application. Credentials that grant access to Sapporo will be distributed in Sapporo, unless pre-arranged otherwise. To pick up the credential(s), an appropriate I.D. (reporter’s identification, etc.) must be presented.
Screening of applications for the 2015 WBSC Premier12 will be conducted by WBSC; no application will automatically be approved.
When a credential(s) is/are not granted, a notification of disapproval or a request to clarify the number of personnel will be sent via email or phone by Wednesday, 14 October. (Notifications will only be sent to those applicants who have applied within the stated application deadline.)
