HAVANA — USA Baseball and the Cuban Baseball Federation (CBF) announced Tuesday that their Collegiate National Team programs will resume an international friendship series for the first time since 1996. The U.S. will kick-off the renewed series by traveling to Cuba for a five-game set in 2012, scheduled for July 5-9, and Cuba has agreed to bring its National Team to the United States in the summer of 2013.

The Deutsche Baseball & Softball Verband e.V. has been selected to host a Qualifier for the 2013 World Baseball Classic. The Regensburg Qualifier will include Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany and Great Britain.
