April anti-doping webinar to focus on athlete nutrition

It's the fourth in the series by the International Testing Agency. All Baseball, Softball and Baseball5 athletes, staff and entourages are welcomed to join.

The fourth anti-doping webinar of the educational series by the International Testing Agency (ITA) will focus on athlete nutrition. Professor Ron Maughan will talk about the importance of an individual approach to nutrition and Terence O'Rorke from Informed Sport will join to discuss supplement testing and the steps athletes can take to greatly reduce the risk of supplement contamination.

The webinar is scheduled on Tuesday, 27 April at 2 pm CEST (8 am US Eastern Time, 9 pm Japan Time) and will be available in five languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, French and Russian.

The webinar is part of the initiatives made possible through the agreement, announced in February, between the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) and the ITA, the not-for-profit independent foundation based in Lausanne, Switzerland, that offers comprehensive anti-doping services.
