Argentina off a perfect start in South America Baseball Championship

After the first 2 days of play in Buenos Aires the hosts are undefeated. Argentina beat, 3-2, the defending champions Brasil and is very likely to meet them again in Saturday, 21 April, Championship game

Argentina is off a perfect start in the South America Baseball Championship. Los Gauchos defeated, 17-0, Bolivia in the opener and kept going in south american classic against Brasil with a 3-2 win.

Cufre, Miguel Garcia and Robles limited Brasil bats to a mere 2 runs. After trailing 0-1 and 1-2, Argentina scored the winning runs in the fifth. Sebastian Garcia hit a double to score Nakandakare from second and touched home plate himself on back to back singles by Mauricio Costa and Jacinto Cipriota.

Chile defeated Bolivia, 4-0, in the other game played Sunday.

The final of the South America Baseball Championship  is scheduled for Saturday, April 21. The winner will advance to Pan American Games 2019.
