The new league partnered with Tops to produce the first women’s pro softball league set of trading cards in the brand’s 82-year history.

Athletes Unlimited, the new and innovative US pro softball league, announced an agreement with The Topps Company to create an online exclusive trading card set commemorating the league’s inaugural season.

The Athletes Unlimited Softball trading cards feature 56 of the world’s best players, including national team members from Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and USA -- some likely to play at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. In addition to the 56 individual player cards, the set will include four “About the League” cards.

“Having a brand like The Topps Company celebrate our Athletes Unlimited softball league as their first women’s pro set is an honor,” said Jon Patricof, CEO and Co-Founder of Athletes Unlimited. “These sets will honor some of the greatest female pro athletes competing today and allow our fans the opportunity to own a piece of history.”

The Athletes Unlimited inaugural weekend saw two-time Olympic medallist Cat Osterman finishing on top of the individual standings with 604 points, followed by Samantha Show (524), Victoria Hayward (490) and Aleshia Ocasio (464). As a result, these players will became the captains of next week’s four teams, having drafted their respective rosters on Wednesday.

All games are being broadcast by ESPN and CBS Sports in USA and Canada. Fans in Latin America can watch it on ESPN Play and YouTube, while in the rest of the world the games will be available on The Olympic Channel and YouTube.
