Italian Baseball for the Blind League set to expand with new Florence club

The Florence Blind Fighters will be the 12th club.

The Italian Baseball for the Blind League (LIBCI, Lega Italiana Baseball Ciechi e Ipovedenti) has announced that a new team -- the Florence Blind Fighters -- will participate in the 2021 season. This grows the league to 12 teams.

The 2020 LIBCI season was shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic. Only six teams elected to participate due to the challenges of the ongoing pandemic. Leonessa Brescia won the 2020 title.
